Nestling neatly between the foothills of Skiddaw, and the shores of beautiful Derwentwater, Keswick is an attractive, busy market town which is ideally suited to exploring the northern half of the Lake District National Park.

Just a few yards from River Greta and Fitz Park Primrose Cottage is a traditional Lakeland stone mid-terraced cottage, that gives easy access to Keswick's amenities, whilst enjoying views of the town's own fell, the ever popular Latrigg.
Furnished and equipped to a high standard, and fully centally heated, Primrose Cottage offers the ideal base at any time of the year.
The welcoming lounge has as its' cental focus the period marble fireplace with flame effect gas fire. For those wishing to relax and catch up on their viewing there is the colour TV which plays DVDs, CDs and has an iPod dock.

The spacious kitchen/ dining room provides all the equipment you will need for your stay. This includes electric fan oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer.

In the dining area, additionally to the dining furniture, in the bookcase you will find a selection of books, videos, maps and walks. Leading off from the kitchen is the utility area housing the washer/dryer, drying rail and dishwasher.

The dining room also gives access through the french doors, to the walled patio garden, with its' garden furniture for those warm days and summer evenings.

The main bathroom, has a bath with an electric shower, hand basin and WC.
Upstairs the main bedroom, also with views towards Latrigg, is decorated in the country style with pine furniture, which includes a large double bed. The room also houses extensive fitted storage space.
The second bedroom, has two full size single beds making this a comfortable twin room.

Finally the separate WC, with vanity unit prevents the need for that long walk in the middle of the night!
All bedding and linen are included in the rental, as are the basics such as kitchen and toilet roll, tissues and cleaning materials. Towels can be provided at an additional charge and a cot is available on request (please bring bedding for baby).
